- CA. Irshad is a Practicing Fellow Chartered Accountant with over 17 years of post-qualification experience.
- He exclusively deals in GST and related matters and is regularly engaged by large corporate houses, Government authorities, Public Sector Units, high net worth clients etc on tax consulting and litigation matters. He represents several clients before the tax authorities on various matters.
- Mr. Irshad is currently a Partner in M I A & Associates, Chartered Accountants, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
- He worked with KPMG and has handled variety of clients including multinational companies in different sectors such as Information technology, banking, large trading houses etc both in India and Abroad.
- CA. Irshad is a member of Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) formed by Central & State GST Departments, Hyderabad, Telangana for the year 2022-23.
- He is a member of GST Committee of SIRC of ICAI for the year 2022-23.
- He is a Co-Chairman of Indirect Taxes Committee of Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI), Hyderabad, Telangana.
- He is a founder member of Confederation of GST Professionals and Industries (CGPI), Mumbai a pan India confederation of GST Professionals, Industries and Associations.
- CA. Irshad is a regular guest speaker on GST at various forums, trade associations, professional bodies including ICAI, FTCCI, Assocham, ASCII etc on GST.
- He has addressed several GST training sessions under certificate course for GST conducted by ICAI across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in 2017-18.
- CA. Irshad is also a law graduate and regularly gives several representations and suggestions from time to time to Government on critical matters on GST involving trade and economy.
- He is a Guest faculty with NACIN (CBIC) and has addressed several GST officials on variety of topics.
- He is a Member of IDT study group on Indirect taxes formed by IDT committee of ICAI in 2016/2017.
- Member of the team which prepared the Background material on GST by IDT committee of ICAI in 2017, a popular GST reference material across various industry sectors, government departments and professionals in India.
